Thanksgiving
We had Thanksgiving at my Mom's yesterday. It was wonderful. Both my brothers and their families were there.

Shaking Hands
Kalli loves to shake peoples hands. When we go to church she puts out her hand even before she hits the front door.

Growing up
Kalli is getting more onry. She is going for the things she knows she can't have. She'll take the remote and pretent she's giving it back but standing just out of reach. When you try to get up she'll take off running - laughing.

Around
Kalli is getting into everything. She'll drop something and say "oh oh" while smiling. She goes to the things she knows she can't have. Right now it's cute but I'm sure that will wear off soon.

15 months old
Kalli is just looking for things to get into. I was reading and put down my book to get the baby whips she had just spread out on the floor. While I was picking up the baby whips she went over to my book and pulled out the book marker. (I'm just glad she didn't take my pop and dump out the soda.)

Stairs
Kalli is moving all over the place. When she's ready for bed she loves to climb the stairs to the second level. Every night she has to stop at the 3rd step and try to get something. She does go to bed OK. (As long as she's feeling alright.)

Walking
Kalli is walking all over the place. She's getting more independent, wanting to be by herself more. It's funny - when I go sit at the computer desk she'll be right there. She's getting her little books and pretends she's reading.

Kalli is traveling up the stairs as fast as she can. She met Kim on the 2nd level last night. It's going to be hard to keep off the stairs.

We went to the park yesterday for Noah's Kindergarten picnic. He had fun running all over the place. When Kalli seen Stephanie she clapped her hands happy to see her. Stephanie held Kalli a lot.

Remote
I'll sit at the computer desk and Kalli will bring the remote to me and place in on the floor by my chair. That's her favorite thing to play with. We gave her her own remote but that's not as important as the real one. I'm glad I have two end tables by my recliner. She'll go back and forth trying to get something I don't want her to have.

Standing Up
Kalli is going all over the place. Her favorite thing is to stand by the coffee table and push everything off it. Then she'll go to the other one and do the same. It's a game to her. We're trying to teach her the word no but it's hard. When we tell her no she'll smile and shake her head no. It's hard not to laugh. She'll be walking really soon.

Standing Up
Kim was telling me that Kalli was standing at the front door when Stephanie and her sister came over. They were tapping the glass getting her attention. It was cute. Kalli does like to look out the door window and the living room windows.

Stephanie, Kalli's birth Mom, came over to see her yesterday. Kalli warmed up to her right away. (It's been a few months.) I'm glad that Stephanie is visiting her. I want Kalli to know her birth mom.

Pictures
Kalli is so funny. She loves to see a picture of herself. Last night she was crying. (I think another tooth is popping through) We couldn't get her to stop. Kim had made some pictures: Kalli, Kalli and the family & Danielle. I showed Kalli a picture of herself and she stop crying. She would look at the picture and grunt. It was cute.

Picture
Kalli gets so excited when she sees her own picture. She likes to be held by the front door area and look at her own picture. Kalli jumps up and down in your arms and screeches out. It's really funny.

Grandma Carol
Kalli is sure falling in love with her Grandma. When she was holding her the other day, Kim went to get her and Kalli looked the other way. She wanted to stay with her Grandma. Today she went over to her and put up her arms. Kalli is playing with Austin right now. Kalli likes her little tunnel, especially as Austin puts his face up to the clear window in it - makes Kalli screech.

Excited
It makes me feel good as a Dad when Kalli gets excited about me holding her. She'll bounce up and down. Last night she started making sucking noises with her mouth - something new to her. But when she doesn't want anyone's attention she's very good at ignoring you.

Kalli was born with a lot of hair. Alicia gave Kalli her first hair cut yesterday. She looks really good in it - looks older. Kalli won't let anyone feed her. She has to eat with her hands. She loves to get raspberries on her neck.

Hands Up
Kalli is starting to hold her hands up wanting to be picked up. She pulled herself up a few days ago and was standing. Ever since she was sick she hasn't gotten back on baby food. Kim tried last night and she didn't want it. Kalli sure does love her own remote. Another thing she likes to do is stare at people. She got excited when a guy winked at her in Olive Garden on Monday.

Kalli
Kalli pulled herself up for the 1st time. She's moving all around the house. Her favorite place is Kim's hutch. She likes to sit in front of it and look at herself. Her other place is the TV. She raises her hands up when we say, "Praise the Lord". - Well when she's in the mood.

Kalli
Kalli loves to go over the Kim's hutch and look at herself in the mirror. So far she doesn't hit it but just sits there and watches herself. It's funny watching her discover things. She'll be waving her hands around and stop and look at it. She's getting more excited especially when she's picked up.

Growing up
Kalli's little arms are starting to go up a more now. She fused a little for me to pick her up last night while extending her arms. I did and when she was ready to get down she let me know. She's wanting to be held while your standing up. Kristina was like that when she was a baby. Kalli has a lot of expression when she's at home but not too much when she's in public. She's beginning to get more vocal in what she doesn't like. - It's cute.

Kalli
Kalli gets so happy when someone pays attention to her. She's starting to put her hands up so she can be picked up. It's funny to watch her as Kim plays "patty cake" with her. Kim will ask her if she wants to play patty cake. Kalli will smile. She does let you know when she doesn't want to do something. She'll let out a little screech. Last night she unplugged the computer while Danielle was on it. I said, "that's not good" and Kalli looked up and gave a, "I think I'm in trouble" look. It was cute. She loves to stick out her little tongue.

Kalli
It's good to see Kalli healthy again. She had stomach flu. Kalli was playing with the curtains and the kids feet while we were eating last night. She got mad the other day when she made it all the way to the kitchen and I had to put her back in the red room. She loves to bounce, kicking her feet and waving her arms. Kalli likes to ignore a person when they speak her name when she's interested in some object.

Crawling all over the place
Kalli is moving all over the place. Last night she made it all the way to under the dinner table. She enjoys being picked up, but she also enjoys being on the floor. Last night she was up a few times. I think it was sinus infection because she couldn't lay on her back - Kim had to prop her up.

Crawling
Kalli is now crawling. She's getting into things now. Her favorite place is under the coffee table. We had to move the small trash can. She's getting more "touchy". It could be because a tooth broke through. It was funny on Sunday. Kim tried to put clips in her hair in church. Kalli would have nothing to do with it. A couple ladies were laughing at Kalli. Kalli would screech and throw her head back. She's getting a stronger personality.

Kalli (1-18-05)
Kalli smiles a lot. She is scooting herself all over the floor. What's really nice is she goes into her bed at night without crying. We were concerned about her being cross eyed. Kim took her to the doctor yesterday and he said because of the shape of her nose her eyes look like that. Kalli likes to sit on my or Kim's lap. It's funny because she'll be fine until Kim walks in the room and she'll start crying because she wants her "Mommy". Kalli is now 7 months old.

Stephanie (Kalli's birth Mom) came over to see Kalli last night. It was a good visit. Kalli sure does like to screech. I think she enjoys hearing herself. Noah continues to play a lot with Kalli. He sits on the floor and just has her laughing. Alisha Dawn also likes to interact with Kalli. The kids are very good with her. Kalli gets a lot of attention and does very little to require more. She will cry a little if someone walks past her without acknowledging her. Kalli seems to be more interested in things than she does people right now. Her favorite things is her own remote control. It'll keep her busy for awhile.

6 1/2 months old. Kalli is becoming more alert. She is pushing herself backwards; soon to to crawling. She seems more interested in things than adults. That is a change from about 3 weeks ago. Kalli weights 16 pounds and 4 ounces. She likes to hear herself "screech". Kalli loves to have someone help her stand up. We should be able to adopt her this month.
